Do I have to winterize my irrigation system every year?

Yes. Leaving water in the irrigation lines can lead to costly repairs. When water freezes, it will expand and potentially damage components in the irrigation system.

Will my irrigation still run when it is raining?

Possibly. Most new irrigation systems are equipped with rain sensing devices that will suspend operation during and for a short period after natural rain accumulation. It is often possible to install rain sensing devices on older system too.

When is the best time to water?

Usually early morning. There is less wind drift and less evaporation which allows more water to soak into the soil and be stored in the plants root systems.

Is an automatic irrigation system difficult to operate?

No. The systems are very easy to operate and upon installation, our service technicians will setup the system for you. Just relax and enjoy.
