How long does it take for grass seed to germinate?

This will vary based on soil conditions and temperature and the availability of moisture. You can expect most variety of grass seed to germinate between 7-21 days. Your first mowing should take place 3-6 weeks after you seeding based on germination.

When is the best time to seed?

The best time to seed is early fall and spring. Soil temperature should be above 60°F.

I can’t grow grass?

This issue arises most often when customers try to grow grass where there is excessive shade or soil erosion occurs. It is best to work with your landscape. If you need ideas on what to do, NV Service Group can help by provide an on-site evaluation.
